PeacePaws MythWalkers: Legends, Love & the Message of Peace, May Peace Prevail On Earth!

May 8, 2026

We are grateful to discover and share beautiful stories from May Peace Prevail On Earth friends around the world, reminding us that peace begins with us.

On Facebook, we recently came across a new and inspiring video series called PeacePaws MythWalkers, created by longtime peace advocate Bob Silverstein — a visionary who has spent more than 30 years sharing the message: May Peace Prevail On Earth.

Through the adventures of two beloved animal companions Holly the cat and Tiga the dog,  PeacePaws MythWalkers explores myths, legends, and sacred stories from cultures around the world, uncovering timeless messages of hope, unity, and peace.

These gentle video journeys invite us to remember that myths are more than stories. They are the places where humanity has always stored its dreams, magic, wisdom, and longing for a peaceful world.

What makes this project especially touching is the real-life story behind Holly.

Holly was originally Bob’s daughter Emily’s beloved cat — lovingly named “Holly Go Lightly” after Audrey Hepburn’s iconic character in the film Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Following the tragic loss of Emily, Bob and his family honored her life with a Peace Pole planting ceremony in a beautiful garden outside their home in Roosevelt, New Jersey.

The Peace Pole stood as a prayer, a remembrance, and a beacon of hope: May Peace Prevail On Earth.

Out of grief, remembrance, and love, new creative expressions emerged including websites in Emily’s honor and now, most recently, PeacePaws MythWalkers, where imaginative characters walk peacefully through stories intended to uplift and unite us all.

Bob’s lifelong dedication to building a more compassionate and sustainable world has touched countless lives through creative media, storytelling, and peace-centered projects. His work reminds us that even in times of sorrow, beauty can still be created, and healing can ripple outward into the world.

At May Peace Prevail On Earth International, we are honored to share this meaningful series and celebrate creators who use imagination, kindness, and storytelling to plant seeds of peace across cultures and generations. If you know of other such peace creatives, email becky@worldpeace.org as we’d love to learn more about their work.

We invite you to watch, reflect, and journey alongside Holly and Tiga as they discover messages of peace hidden within the myths of the world.
