Imua Family Services, Plants Peace Pole Wailuku, Hawaii, USA

In celebration of World Peace Day 2025, Imua Family Services, with the support of the Rotary Club of Kihei-Wailea, installed its Peace Pole alongside the Maui County Sister Cities Peace Garden at Imua Discovery Garden, located at 2371 Main Street. The installation ceremony included a blessing by Kimokeo Kapahulehua and included representatives from Imua Family Services, the Rotary Club of Kihei-Wailea, and the Maui County Sister Cities Foundation.

Inscribed prominently is the Hawaiian phrase “E Ho‘omaluhia Me Ka Honua, which can be translated to mean “May peace prevail on Earth” or “Make peace with the earth.” The message of harmony, tranquility, and environmental stewardship fits perfectly within Imua Discovery Garden, which cultivates inquisitive and growing minds in an environment that encourages play and exploration.
