The 11th Samuhara Shrine World Peace Prayer Ceremony, Tsuyama City, Japan.

October 10, 2026

Thank you very much to everyone who joined us in person and via Zoom on Saturday, October 10.

We were blessed with clear skies, and more than 70 people gathered in the bright sunshine.

Participants came from Kanto, Chubu, Kansai, Chugoku, Shikoku, Kyushu, and Okinawa, together with local residents who regularly visit the inner sanctuary of Samuhara Shrine. We were also joined by Caroline from Allanton Sanctuary, Alison from France, Sylvia from Denmark, Shantida and Prashanta from the United Kingdom, and Chief Priest Ogino and his family.

Many people also participated online, allowing us to send prayers for peace out to the world together. We are truly grateful to everyone who joined us.

The beautiful singing of Yuki Shimizu and her musical theater group, who are active in Okayama, brought an even greater sense of harmony to the World Peace Prayer Ceremony (WPPC). I felt that their voices created a light, clear sense of oneness.

During the pandemic, there were times when we held this ceremony with just three people. This year, we were able to celebrate its eleventh year with so many people gathered in person.

Both those watching on Zoom and those attending in person shared similar impressions, saying that they felt a gentle, peaceful energy throughout the gathering.

I am deeply grateful that we could unite beyond time and space, sending vibrations of world peace out into the world together with the divine presence of Samuhara.

I am very happy that we were able to return to the original spirit of the WPPC—transcending all differences to pray for the peace and well-being of each and every country—and bring the ceremony to a close in such a harmonious flow.

I offer my gratitude to everyone who has supported this gathering in so many ways over the years, as well as to all the divine beings and Goi Sensei.

My heartfelt thanks also go to those who sent their warm wishes and offered special support for this occasion. Thank you very much.
