Nikoo Pendar Educational Center Creates Missiles of Kindness, A Collective Artwork of Hope, Iran
August 19, 2025
In response to recent events in Iran, the inaugural session of the Nikoopendar Art Classes opened with a powerful act of unity and creativity. Students and instructors worked hand-in-hand to create a joint artwork entitled “Missiles of Kindness,” with the universal message of peace, “May Peace Prevail On Earth.”

Unlike missiles of destruction, these works were conceived not for war but for friendship; not for fear, but for the boundless flight of childlike imagination. They stand as a testament to a belief that remains unshaken: that through the language of art and color, love can be launched into the world, and seeds of peace and compassion can be sown across all borders.

This collaborative project was guided and brought to fruition under the thoughtful leadership of Hossein Hosseini, instructor of the marquetry class. His vision helped transform the classroom into a space where creativity became an instrument of healing and where imagination could serve as a force for peace.

The photographs that accompany this project capture both the process and the spirit of its creation, the hands of students at work, the exchange of ideas, and the shared joy of building something meaningful together. They are not just images of an art class, but living evidence of how kindness, when expressed through creativity, can overcome despair and affirm our shared humanity.
