We the People Plant Peace Poles: May Peace Prevail On Earth Celebrates People Planting Peace Across the United States.

As America marks its 250th birthday, we celebrate the people across the United States who make peace visible.
In homes, schools, gardens, parks, sanctuaries, churches, libraries, civic spaces, and community gathering places, people have planted and dedicated Peace Poles as lasting reminders of a simple and powerful message:
May Peace Prevail On Earth.
May Peace Prevail On Earth International is the official organization responsible for the unifying message May Peace Prevail On Earth and the global Peace Pole movement with more than 200,000 Peace Poles planted around the world.
Across the United States, thousands of people have carried this message into their communities through physical Peace Poles, dedication ceremonies, and Virtual Peace Poles planted with intention for peace.
Using our Peace Pole map, we can currently see 1,227 registered physical Peace Poles planted in the United States and 138 Virtual Peace Poles planted across the United States. We know there are many more Peace Poles across the country that have not yet been added to the map, and each one is part of a living network of peace.
Because our Peace Pole maps are relatively new, these numbers represent only a portion of the Peace Poles planted across the United States, and the map continues to grow as more people add their Peace Poles. We invite you to explore the map, look up public Peace Poles you know and love, and help us make this living network of peace more visible by adding Peace Poles that have not yet been registered.
We the People Plant Peace
The Peace Pole movement has always been carried by people.
Families have planted Peace Poles at home. Students have gathered in schoolyards. Faith communities have dedicated Peace Poles on sacred ground. Community groups have planted them in public spaces. Cities, gardens, libraries, and local organizations have made the message of peace visible where people live, learn, gather, serve, and belong.
Each Peace Pole affirms Peace belongs here. Peace is something we choose, practice, and carry forward together.
On America’s 250th birthday, we give thanks for the people of this country across many cultures, communities, traditions, backgrounds, and beliefs who continue to honor peace.
In our diversity, may we continue to remember what connects us: a shared longing for peace, dignity, equality, compassion, goodwill, and a more peaceful world for future generations.
