Bridgehampton UFSD Students Gather for Peace Pole Ceremony, Bridgehampton, New York, USA

Our school community came together to celebrate peace, unity, and service during a special Peace Pole Ceremony.

Students, staff, community members, and representatives from the Southampton Rotary Club gathered for the event, which featured remarks from school and community leaders, performances by the school choir and Marimba Band, and a colorful display of pinwheels for peace created by students.

The Peace Pole was installed near the memorial bench honoring beloved former Spanish teacher Nancy Bagshaw, whose legacy of kindness, cultural understanding, and community connection continues to inspire Bridgehampton students.

Following the ceremony, attendees enjoyed ice cream and refreshments generously donated by the Southampton Rotary Club!

We are so proud to have celebrated a meaningful day celebrating peace, community, and the power of coming together. šŸŒŽšŸ•Šļø
