Peace Pole Gathering Zuvuyaland in Taupo, North Island of New Zealand

Hello there…..I am a little late in sharing this news as our Peace Pole gathering was on the 22nd March this year .
The site is a nature sanctuary called Zuvuyaland which is close to ‘heart shaped’ Lake Taupo, in the central North Island of New Zealand (I have registered it on your world map).
Last year, on June 8th, we had our first Peace Pole planting beginning with two Peace Poles, bearing six languages.
On September 21st, International Peace Day, we planted one more Peace Pole and increased the languages to ten!
Then, this year in March, we planted Three more and now have ‘May Peace Prevail On Earth’ in eighteen languages. There were between thirty and fifty people at each gathering, including a group who are Peace runners and devotees of Sri Chinmoy, who, in 1987, began the global Peace runs carrying a ‘torch for peace’ through many countries. A quote from Sri Chinmoy….”Lasting peace must begin within the depths of the individual, and from there spread in ever-widening circles as a dynamic force for world change.”
