September 22nd, 2013

The Chapel at Croton Falls hosted an Interfaith Sunday on September 22nd to celebrate the UN International Day of Peace with the annual re-dedication of its Peace Pole.

The beautiful service, led by Rev. Deborah Moldow of the World Peace Prayer Society, included Native American wisdom on the autumnal equinox by Anishinabe medicine man Bear Walker. Also on hand was Sunera Rahman of the American Muslim Women’s Association, who gave a moving presentation on the true meaning of jihad.
