“A meeting took place at Dawson College in Montreal, Canada on June 15th to discuss Dawson’s future as a hub for peace education during a visit by Dot Maver, President of the National Peace Academy, USA.

Gathered at the Dawson Peace Pole, which was dedicated in the Dawson Peace Garden in 2011, were Jean Trudel, Samantha Manty, Dot Maver, Kendall Birker, Gabrielle Caron, and Chris Adams.

Students Samantha, Kendall and Gabrielle are with the Peace Garden Team for Sustainable Dawson. Dawson College received a landscaping award June 15th due largely to the Peace Garden.”
