Peace Pole for peace in Chillicothe Elementary Center-IL-USA

On Wednesday, May 4th, the IVC High School Leadership Class unveiled the “Peace Pole” for Chillicothe Junior High & Elementary Center (CEC). On hand to attend the unveiling were students from CEC’s Team TRRFCC group as well as the students from Mr. Kosinksi’s Leadership class. On CEC’s Peace Pole, the message “May Peace Prevail on Earth” is displayed in English, French, German and Spanish. Students from Mr. Kosinski’s class came up with the idea of planting Peace Poles in order to prevent student misbehavior (such as bullying and/or fighting) and approached the faculty of CEC in March with a presentation.
