WPPS Peace Representative of The Netherlands—Australia

March 25, 2009

I presented to members of the Rotary club of Wooloongabba based in East Brisbane, Australia. My presentation was geared towards introducing myself to Rotarians who have funded my studies. It was also a way of sharing with them my past activities around peace promotion.
Talking about my peace work will definitely create a chapter directly related to The World Peace Prayer Society (WPPS) as my first contact in promotion global peace. So my presentation was both about The World Peace Prayer Society and my humble self.
During my presentation, I told them about my work experience with WPPS and the importance of our message and prayer “May Peace Prevail on Earth.” I also mentioned about the working relationship between WPPS and the Rotary. The materials which you sent were very helpful in underscoring what I presented about WPPS. I distributed the literature to them including the stickers. They shared their appreciation with me after the presentation.
I received a Rotary Fellowship in 2008 for a Masters program in Peace and Conflict Resolution and International Studies at the
University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia
. It is a tradition that upon our arrival, we must give a talk at a Rotary Clubs in the country of study. The Rotary Club of Woolloongabba is my host Rotary Club.
May Peace Prevail on Earth!
