There’s this beautiful Peace Pole that’s been planted and dedicated in the town of Bad Kissingen, Federal State Bavaria, Country Germany

The Peace Pole was unveiled on Monday, September 21, to mark the International Day of Peace. It was a wonderful celebration with neighbors and friends from the village.

The Peace Pole stands, of course, on our property—otherwise, the project wouldn’t have come to fruition so quickly. But just a few centimeters from the sidewalk and with no fence between them, it shines brightly and beams out to everyone.

We, of course, explained the idea and the global movement, and many “Ah…” moments confirmed a newfound awareness. In the evening, there was a bonfire to mark the equinox…

The Peace Pole carries the universal peace message in letters written in English, Japanese, Anishinabe, and German.

The Peace Bell rings for all languages without words…
