Fumi Johns Stewart Speaks for Young People Worldwide at Global Unity Summit.

September 20, 2026

Fumi Johns Stewart, Executive Director of May Peace Prevail On Earth International, recently spoke on behalf of young people around the world during the 11 Days of Global Unity Summit panel on Disarmament.

In her moving remarks, Fumi shared the voices and hopes of young people, including Peace Pals International participants from Vietnam and Iran. Their messages were a powerful reminder that children and teens everywhere long for a world free from violence, fear, and war.

Through art, words, and heartfelt expressions of peace, these young people show us that peace is not simply an idea for the future. It is something they are already helping to build today.

We are deeply grateful to We, The World and the 11 Days of Global Unity Summit for creating space to uplift the voices of children and young people. May we listen to them, stand beside them, and work together toward a more peaceful world.
