Rotary Club of Loganholme Celebrates Peace Pole Installation at Daisy Hill State School, Queensland, Australia.

What an exciting day for the Rotary Club of Loganholme!
This morning, we were warmly welcomed to Daisy Hill State School to witness the installation of two Peace Poles that our club was proud to donate to the school community.
The School Captains led a heartfelt, inspiring ceremony and welcomed families, staff, students, and guests. They shared the story of the Peace Pole movement and the powerful message displayed on each pole:
“May Peace Prevail on Earth.”
The ceremony was a wonderful reminder that peace begins with understanding, kindness and respect, values that are embraced every day within the school community. Daisy Hill State School continues to reinforce the importance of inclusion, belonging and respect, creating an environment where every student feels valued and connected.
A definite highlight for guests was hearing students share the message “May Peace Prevail on Earth” in their families’ native languages, beautifully reflecting the school’s rich cultural diversity and the universal hope for peace that unites us all.
We extend our sincere thanks to Daisy Hill State School for its warm hospitality and for providing students with the opportunity to learn about and promote peace in our world. We are honoured to support initiatives that inspire future generations to become compassionate and responsible global citizens.
