Peace Lives Here A World Peace Flag Ceremony in Marshall, NC, USA.

In May 2023, friends from across the region gathered in Marshall, North Carolina, for the Sacred Mountain Water Retreat, held on the grounds of LoEvolution Wellness Sanctuary.

This beautiful gathering invited community members to receive positive messages from Elders and Wisdom Keepers, and to commune in spirit through ceremony, drumming, music, and shared reverence for the Earth.

Ceremonial leader Kari Black Elk, grandson of Wallace Black Elk of the Lakota Nation, reminded those gathered to walk the way of the traditional ancestors. Other speakers, artists, and musicians added to the spirit of honoring nature, respecting all life, and remembering our shared responsibility to one another and to the Earth.

As part of this gathering, May Peace Prevail On Earth International offered a World Peace Flag Ceremony.

With a Peace Pole at the center of a mandala of flags, participants gathered in unity to honor the flags of the world and the Indigenous Nations of the world. One by one, each nation and region was held in peace as voices joined together in the universal message:

May Peace Prevail On Earth.

The World Peace Flag Ceremony powerfully reminds us that peace belongs to every country, every culture, every people, and every heart. In Marshall, North Carolina, the ceremony brought hearts and voices together to send peace outward through the blessing of each nation and region on Earth.
