Peace Poles at Collingwood College, Melbourne, Australia.
May 25, 2026
Eight Peace Poles, representing every language group at Collingwood College, were donated to the school by the Rotary Club of Collingwood in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. They symbolise the diversity of students from 46 nations and mark the culmination of a project that has been over two years in the making.

To connect students with their native tongues, the word “Peace” was translated into each of their languages, ensuring all 46 language groups are represented. Made from recycled materials, the Peace Poles are numbered and now form part of a global network promoting peace. The school played a key role in bringing this meaningful project to life.
Genuine thanks to everyone involved, including school staff and Rotary Club of Collingwood members. This is a great result.
