Peace Pole in Deep River, Connecticut, USA

Here is the photograph that I spoke of, showing the Peace Pole in Deep River, Connecticut, where we have twice enjoyed a stay in the charming loft of the red barn in the background which is called the ‘Hippie Hideaway’.

How do you like the little elephant rock that is positioned at the base of it?

The photograph is taken as I viewed the hideaway near the home of our very dear hostess Hedy there at the corner of Hemlock Drive and Scenic View Drive in Deep River.

She is a holistic practitioner and yoga instructor and travels the world helping people in desperate need of good water systems.
