A New Symbol of Peace in Our Community in Hillcrest, South Australia

The Rotary Club of Lightsview in South Australia proudly celebrated the installation of their Clubโ€™s very first ๐๐ž๐š๐œ๐ž ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ž at North East Community House in Hillcrest!

Each side of the Peace Pole carries the message:  โ€œ๐‘ด๐’‚๐’š ๐‘ท๐’†๐’‚๐’„๐’† ๐‘ท๐’“๐’†๐’—๐’‚๐’Š๐’ ๐’๐’ ๐‘ฌ๐’‚๐’“๐’•๐’‰โ€ – beautifully inscribed in languages that reflect their local community:๐„๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก, ๐‡๐ข๐ง๐๐ข, ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ฃ๐š๐›๐ข, ๐Š๐š๐ฎ๐ซ๐ง๐š, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐€๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฅ๐š๐ง.

North East Community House is a safe and welcoming space where people come together to connect, share, and belong. 

Now, their Peace Pole stands as a ๐ ๐š๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐œ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ๐ž – a reminder that no matter where we come from or what language we speak, ๐ฉ๐ž๐š๐œ๐ž ๐ข๐ฌ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฌ๐ก๐š๐ซ๐ž๐๐๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฆ.
