Peace Pole in San Miguel de Allende to celebrate IDP, Parque Juarez, Mexico

What a lovely and meaningful event the four Rotary clubs of San Miguel de Allende co-organized to celebrate the U.N. International Day of Peace today in Parque Juarez, by the Peace Pole they installed several years ago.

Warm thanks to Andrea Spessard and all the organizers – and to my friends Leslie Bayard, Linda O’Neill, Janey Butterworth, Jeff Honeycutt, Rondi Jones, Jeff Spears, Adrian Ross, and Jurgen Beltran, who showed up to join the prayers and festivities. And we all made a wonderful new musician friend, Román Sebastián – what a talent for peace!
