World Peace Flag Ceremony Brings Young People Together in Comayagua, Honduras.

From August 19–23, the VI World Peace Congress was held in Honduras, organized by three international organizations, including Living Peace International. Representatives from countries across the Americas gathered around the theme: “Weaving Networks of Peace. Building the Future.”
On August 20, at Plaza Cívica La Amistad in the heart of Siguatepeque, Comayagua, Honduras, we celebrated the World Peace Flag Ceremony with young people from schools and universities throughout the city.
It was a sacred and deeply moving moment of unity and participation.
Living Peace is multiplying this important World Peace Flag Ceremony in every corner of the world where our network is present. It is urgent that we continue to call for peace, and moments like this help raise awareness and encourage each person to recognize and embrace their own responsibility for building peace.
