From the Schools of Living Peace in Jordan: A Message of Hope by Dr. Carlos Palma.

I have just returned from Jordan after a week with the schools of the Living Peace network in the country: 8 schools, more than 10,000 students, among whom 230 are Young Peace Ambassadors.

I lived moments of profound emotion and deep gratitude while meeting these young people from a region marked by wounds and uncertainty caused by war.

The EMOTION was overwhelming as I listened to their experiences, which reveal a strong determination to become true builders of peace—starting from their own hearts and extending it to others, almost as an act of silent resistance, through simple, concrete, and deeply human gestures of love towards others.

The IMMENSE GRATITUDE goes to all those who are responsible for their formation and accompaniment, who sustain this journey with love, dedication, responsibility, and a passion that becomes life in each one of these young people, even in such a fragile and challenging context.

Once again, these encounters have left my heart filled with hope for a better world: a humble yet unstoppable light that continues to shine in the midst of darkness.

At the end of one of the many meetings, Young Peace Ambassadors from several schools wished to send a message of support, closeness, and solidarity to the Young Peace Ambassadors of Lebanon, making them feel that they are not alone—that their brothers and sisters in Jordan walk beside them, united in the same courageous commitment: to build peace with their lives.

What I witnessed in Jordan is not just a project or an educational experience—it is a living sign that peace is possible, even in the most fragile contexts. These young people are not only speaking about peace; they are already embodying it. And this gives me a renewed certainty: the future is being built today, in their hearts, one small courageous gesture at a time.
