The Peace Pole Project Coming to Plattekill, New York, USA

The Plattekill Historical Society is seeking volunteers to help clean, catalog and prepare 85 Peace Poles for placement with organizations in the new year.
The effort is being organized in partnership with the historical society. Volunteers are needed to gently wash and clean the Peace Poles and to help database each one, including documenting the languages inscribed on them, to ensure they are matched with appropriate locations.

Work will take place at the Plattekill Historical Society, 127 Church Street, Plattekill, NY.
The Peace Pole Project is a signature initiative of May Peace Prevail On Earth International, a nonprofit, nonsectarian, member-supported organization headquartered at The Peace Pole Project International headquarters in Wassaic, New York. The organization is associated with the United Nations Department of Public Information as a non-governmental organization. Its sole mission is to spread the universal message of peace, “May Peace Prevail On Earth,” which is a registered trademark of the organization.
