An International Day of Peace Celebration!
On September 21, 2025, International Day of Peace, a Peace Pole was dedicated in Rowayton, Connecticut by The United Church of Rowayton.
The pole has been planted at Emig Park on the church’s campus overlooking the Five Mile River. At the dedication ceremony, Rev. Salvatore Sapienza, the church’s pastor, remarked, “We hope that everyone who walks or drives past our Peace Pole
