Peace Pole in Peace Garden on the International Day of Peace, Nelson, British Columbia, Canada

Our young Interactors put in the native plants in Peace Garden, next to where the Nelson Peace Pole will be placed.

We didn’t realize it until later, it was 9-11. The serendipity of peace work! 

Attached is a poster explaining what a Peace Pole is, announcing Nelson’s Peace Pole Dedication at 11:45 on Sunday, September 21st, United Nations International Day of Peace. Please share widely.

We will join the worldwide minute of silence at noon. An indigenous welcome and the universal peace prayer, May Peace Prevail on Earth, will be intoned by native speakers in 12 languages.
