The Message of Peace in the center of Golden Colorado, USA

We finally installed the eight-language aluminum plates this week.  The facility may not appear elegant.  It is, in fact, a high-traffic area in the center of Golden, Colorado.  It is in the back of a very successful coffee shop whose owner is committed to peace.   I glued the aluminum plates on with silicone.  Thank you for a good product.

The International Service Committee of Golden Rotary is indeed indebted to Melissa Lutz, owner of the Humble House, to allow us to convert two poles (in the back of her property and on Miners Alley) into Peace Poles.  All eight sides have excellent visibility to the public.

Given the opportunity to speak of them at the Rotary Club I would love to share the reason, the purpose, and the value they bring us one small step closer to peace.  The silent subliminal messaging can be very effective.
