Sunray Peace Village, Peace Pole for the 41st annual Elders and Youth Gathering, Lincoln, VT, USA

Sunray Peace Village is home to Sunray Meditation Society under the leadership of  Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo with a mission to preserve the teachings of the Peacemaker from Tsalagi (Cherokee) spiritual traditions and teachings of peacemaking from Tibetan Buddhism.  

Friends from afar gathered to participate in the 41st annual Elder’s and Youth Gathering at this sanctuary and place for sacred teachings and ceremony where peace building skills are shared with the community.  Last year Sunray was gifted with a Peace Pole which has since been planted in a special corner of the sanctuary where peacemakers gathered to take this lovely group photo.

Infinite gratitude to Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo for her many years of dedicated service to world peace and for planting this special Peace Pole with the community.
