On Friday, July 12, members of the Highland Rotary Club came together to give some tender love and care to our beautiful Centennial Garden—a special landmark located along the Highland Rail Trail near Commercial Avenue. Rotarians installed the garden in the early 2000s to honor the 100 years of service of the Rotary International organization.
With gloves on and clippers in hand, Rotarians weeded, trimmed, and restored the garden’s vibrant spirit.
A huge thank you to our dedicated members who made it happen: Sal and Christine Sorbello, Loretta and Don Verity, Lee Barrington, Patricia Mikkelsen, and Donna Jolly. Your efforts truly embody the Rotary motto: Service Above Self.
