Events for the Summer Solstice took place at the Sweetwater Cultural Center, which is located on Ramapough Lenape lands in the lower Hudson Valley.  The Center hosts cultural events and ceremonies to honor the peoples and the traditions of the land.  It houses a Museum dedicated to the Ramapough people.  During the Summer Solstice ceremonies, guests walked through the Peace Gateway created by two Peace Poles that had been dedicated some years ago at the Center.
