Fall River Youth Violence Prevention joins Fall River Rotary Club , Massachusetts-USA

2010 to Present

Fall River nonprofits are coming together to show peace and positivity and maybe inspire others.

As part of the Peace Pole Initiative, the Fall River Youth Violence Prevention organization is challenging other nonprofits across the area to put up a Peace Pole to promote peace and positivity.

They don’t want it to stop at just businesses, either; they are hoping it will inspire people everywhere to make and show their Peace Poles.

The Peace Pole Initiative in Fall River started back in 2010 when United Neighbors really drove the initiative.

Christian McCloskey, Youth Coordinator for the City of Fall River, said this year, they are trying to breathe new life into the initiative by teaming up with the Rotary Club.

Some Peace Poles that were planted in 2010 are still standing.

The Peace Pole Initiative isn’t just for businesses or organizations; anyone can show peace and positivity. We’ve put together photos of some of the Peace Poles in the area for inspiration when you make yours.
