Martin Luther King Memorial Peace Garden and Peace Pole at King Branch Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA

On April 4, 1988 at noon, the Martin Luther King Branch held a Peace Pole and Martin Luther King Memorial Peace Garden Dedication Ceremony. 

The Peace Pole reflects the peace message – “May Peace Prevail on Earth” in four languages. The Milwaukee Peace Pole has the peace message in English, Hmong, Swahili and Spanish. 

The Martin Luther King Memorial Peace Garden is dedicated to the memory of Dr. King. It represents the ongoing commitment of this community to work towards Dr. King’s dream of peace with justice.
