Holy Land Living Water Tour Through Jordan, Palestine and Israel. World Interfaith Harmony Week February 1-7, 2019

A seven-day journey through the Holy Land region of Jordan, Palestine and Israel was organized by Unity Earth, partners United Religions Initiative as well as the local Ecco Peace initiative.  

Delegates of Unity Each gather on top of Mt. Nebo, Jordan with the Water Mandala and May Peace Prevail On Earth banner in Arabic.

The tour attracted over 90 participants representing organizations, peace activists, interfaith leaders, indigenous elders and musicians from around the world to come together in deep ceremony. With prayers in celebration of the World Interfaith Harmony Week with a focus on healing the waters of the sacred Jordan River.

World Peace Flag Ceremony at the Dead Sea, Jordan

Fumi Johns Stewart, Executive Director of MPPPOE Int., participated in the Living Water journey and dedicated two Peace Poles, one in Bethlehem and one in Jerusalem.

Fumi also led a World Peace Flag Ceremony at the Dead Sea in Jordan.  A water mandala which was created with written words of gratitude to water was presented along the journey to focus our intentions for healing the water of the Jordan River, the Dead Sea and the Sea of Galilee…along with all the waters on planet earth.

A Peace Pole was presented to Luay Zaool, head of the Public Relations Department, State of Palestine, Governorate of Bethlehem.  The Peace Pole will then be presented to Salah al-Tamari, Governor of Bethlehem.

Water Mandala on Mt. Megiddo, for which the Greek name is Armageddon in Israel.

With Muslim and Israeli youth as they proudly display the peace message in their respective languages.
