Peace Pole for International Day of Peace, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

In celebration of The International Day of Peace, September 21st 2018, a Peace Pole was planted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This project was lovingly put together by many, with months of planning in advance.

The Minister for National Unity and the UN Chief to Malaysia attended the joyous celebration of Peace.

Also in attendance were the Chief Priests from the Buddhist and Taoist, as well as aborigine groups.

The Ceremony was marked with prayers by several of the Chiefs, a Peace walk, and an Asoka tree planting in honor of the event to give back to the earth.

The presentation of the only 8 language Peace Pole was given by the children to the Prime Minister.

The festivities concluded with the lighting of 70 lanterns, peace candles as well as Peace Kolam drawings to highlight the special day.
