Austrian region requests a Peace Pole planting for peace festival–Waldhausen, AUSTRIA

Every three years, the Austrian Society  “Waldrose“ gives an award to individuals or organisations in Europe working for peace.

The next Award Ceremony will be held on September 4th in Waldhausen, Upper Austria.

To prepare for the event, the Austrian Society sent a circular to all schools in the region proposing that teachers and pupils plant a Peace Pole on the school property prior to September 4th.

One of the Society members, a headmaster,  already planted a Peace Pole on his school campus and offers advice & help in a circular.

The Waldrose Society also suggests that the schools hold peace prayers in various languages and with various religions.

At the Peace Festival in September, the schools will give a short presentation on how they organized their school peace event.

The World Peace Prayer Society-Europe Office now sends out various translations of MPPOE both on a Peace Pole signs or per email.
