May 31st-2014

Here are some photographs from the  Peace Pole Dedication Ceremony we had at one of the community gardens (West Village Community Garden) in Quesnel at “Plant Day.”

The First Nations people and the Punjabi people were on hand  to cut the ribbons on the Peace Pole. The Peace Pole is planted in the middle of our spiral rock herb bed. The downtown community garden has yet to dedicate their Peace Pole and a local Elementary School plans on incorporating a Peace Pole in their  garden so you will be hearing from them later.
