Peace Pole at Allanton Sanctuary- Scotland, UK

We gathered in the Peace Room to hold a World Peace Prayer and Flag Ceremony with
those who joined us in an open invitation to participate in the
Symphony of Peace Prayers and Global Peace Meditation.
We read a welcome address from Masami Saionji and a quotation from Dr Lazlo and
then we all presented the flags of the world ringing a small bell when
participating countries were announced and reading messages from
several spiritual leaders. Afterwards we held a 5 minute Peace
Meditation and then wrote peace messages to be buried under the Peace
Pole. People donned coats and shoes and carried the messages out to
the site where everyone helped to plant the new Peace Pole which has
English, Hebrew, Arabic and Scottish Gaelic carved onto it.
We sat down to Sunday afternoon tea with delicious cakes and conversation.
