Peace Pole planted at the Sparkasse Saale Savings Bank in Germany

The Peace Pole dedication was very successful and there was such a welcoming repsonse from the media and the town citizens! The 4 sided Peace Pole features the languages German, English, Russian and Japanese with the message, May Peace Prevail On Earth.

The bank Manager, Mr. Helmut Schmidt, who initiated the Peace Pole planting, hopes that he “got the ball rolling.” He said, “We remain with the wish that other financial institutions (most of all of course other Sparkassen Savings Banks) follow our example and also plant Peace Poles in their regions.”
