Haywood Community College Plants Peace Pole to Celebrate 60 Years, Clyde, North Carolina, USA

A steel Peace Pole with the message, “May Peace Prevail On Earth,” as a dedication to the college’s 60th anniversary and the Waynesville Rotary Club’s centennial.

The Peace Pole is meant to inspire unity among people from all walks of life. Its message is meant to be an affirmation of peace.
