FREE Monthly Nature Walk at the World Peace Sanctuary - First Saturday of each month at 9:00 AM, rain or shine.

We look at a transition meadow and speak of forest succession, monocrops, identify invasive plant species, speak of
the cycles in nature, mans influence & impact on the land & nature - past & present (property was once an active
farm & we look at signs of the farm), our last ice age & effects of glaciation, what air is made of and our atmosphere,
plant & animal communities, migrations, the Linnaean System, we end the walk with a stroll down the Peace Path and
talk a little about the state of affairs on the planet.

DEADLINE SUBMISSION: June 30th, 2008. Any child or teenager from the ages 5-19 can submit.
