As the day ends for us, and begins for those in America, I pray for healing in the hearts of us all. Healing, love and peace in the hearts of those grieving the tragic loss of loved ones so cruelly one year ago. I pray for discernment on the part of those deciding what follow up action must be taken, that they will have great clarity of vision and be able to act accordingly. I pray for the perpetrators too, that they find other ways of being heard in this world. That in expression of their views we may all come to a realisation of our common humanity, of respect for one another, tolerance and ultimately love.
Lord, father of all peoples in the world, teach us new ways and help us to harbour so much peace and love within that it cannot help but spill out all around us. That despite ourselves we grow spiritually as a people.

If the victims of 9-11-01 could re-live that terrible day, yet remember everything that actually happened, what do you think they would want for us, as survivors?
I believe that they would want PEACE ON EARTH, GOODWILL TOWARDS MEN....ALL human beings, that is. Would they wish that their families, and the rest of the world be thrown into 'war-like conditions', filled with violence, hatred, and crime? I seriously doubt it.
So, in the spirit of the survivors, and in the memory of the victims, let us pray that God allows us to see a 'new' way of life, and a new start on loving one another, even those who are 'against' us. Let us pray that just one of the enemy's hearts be opened up and be filled with love. That, too, would be a good start, but we each need to do our part in opening our own hearts and minds, as well.
Father, I ask for your LOVE to surround the USA, and the world, so that we may unite as the human race should, instead of fighting one another over who is 'right'.
