Ja - ein Gebet für den Frieden im Mittleren Osten.
Ich bete (= bitte) täglich, dass die Menschen dort und auch hier einsichtig werden. Ich bete, dass ich selber keinen Unterschied mache, obgleich diejenigen, die an mir vorbei gehen Juden, Christen, Muslime, schwarz, weiss oder braun,
gut oder schlechtgekleidet, sauber oder nicht so sauber sind - wir sind ALLE Menschen. Wir leben ALLE auf dieser EINEN WELT. Und ALLE möchten geliebt werden, wollen, dass sich jemand um sie sorgt, wünschen, dass es wenigstens EINEM nicht egal ist, wie es ihm/ihr geht.
"Liebet den Nächsten wie euch selbst" - was ich mir selber nicht antun will (mich schlagen, mich ausspotten, mich nicht anerkennen, mich hungern und dursten lassen, mich schlechter stellen als meinen Nachbarn, mir verbieten meinen Nachbarn zu besuchen, mich nicht arbeiten lassen, mir meine Grundlagen zum Leben zu nehmen, mein Kind mit einer Bombe in die Luft sprengen, etc.) und den Schmerz in meiner Seele nicht fühlen will - warum lasse ich es meinem Mitmenschen spüren, warum behandle ich ihn schlecht.
Jahwe, Gott, Allah - ist UNSER ALLER Vater. Wir stammen ALLE von ihm ab. Wir ALLE sind seine Söhne und Töchter! Mein Gott, wie muss es einem Vater weh tun, wie sein Herz zerreissen, wenn er soviel Zwitracht unter SEINEN KINDERN sieht !!!!! - Lasst bitte uns als Kinder EINES VATERS erkennen und danach leben. Einer um des anderen Wohl besorgt. Wir Menschen gehören zu EINER FAMILIE. Bitte, lasst uns in unserem Herzen begreifen, dass Jeder das Recht zu existieren hat und wie gross die Schmerzen unseres Vaters sein müssen, das Morden, die Missgunst und die Not bei uns zu sehen !

May every being have happiness and the causes of happiness (living in love to overcome hate),
May we be free of suffering and the causes of suffering (practising compassion to overcome passion),
May we never be separated from the great happiness that knows no suffering (being joyful to overcome jealousy),
May we live in the great ecuanimity, free from attachment to those near and aversion to those we are not near (free from making a distinction between those we are close to and those we are not, in other words, overcoming prejudice )
This Buddhist prayer is, in my opinion, the greatest formula for peace and I wish this for the Middle East and all suffering beings everywhere.
