We made this Peace Pole as a gift to ourselves to commemorate Debbie’s 75th Birthday celebration.
In 1974, as a member of Foothills Unitarian Church in Fort Collins, CO, Debbie first learned about Peace Poles from her first UU minister/Pacifist, Walter Royal Jones, and his wife, Eliza, who had a very elaborate Peace Pole in the front yard of their home.
