Peace Pole and WPFC presented at the Council for a Parliament of the World’s Religions Symposium-Melbourne, Australia

Audrey Kitagawa of the Council for a Parliament of the World’s Religions introduced the United Nations International Year of Reconciliation. Fumi Johns Stewart, Executive Director of The World Peace Prayer Society and Charles Gibbs, Executive Director of the United Religions Initiative, led the World Peace Prayer and Flag Ceremony together, dedicating the Parliament Peace Pole with representatives of different religions who came from all over the world.

The richness of human and religious diversity is woven into the fabric of communal, civil, societal and global life
