Hiddenbrooke is a 103-acre land parcel that now preserves the woods, streams and meadows of a particularly beautiful place located in Beacon, New York.

On Sunday October 5th 2008, Shannon Murphy, Artist Matt Kinney and a group of dedicated individuals from Beacon met at Beacon’s Peace Park and Peace Pole at the corner of Route 9D and Main Street. The event was a Walk for Peace from one established Peace Pole to dedicate a handcrafted Peace Totem installed deep in the woods on Hiddenbrooke’s 103 acres.

If you ever do get a moment take a walk into these forgotten breathtaking woods and feel the spirituality of “May Peace Prevail On Earth” with this hidden Peace Totem in these sacred woods of Hiddenbrooke. It is well worth the moment in time to experience.
